CyberPatriot is the Air Force Association's computer network defense competition for high school students. Registration for CyberPatriot V opened April 1, 2012, and will close on September 30th. There will be two competition divisions:

  • The All Service Division is for teams from the Junior ROTC programs from all the services, the Sea Cadets, and Civil Air Patrol.
  • The Open Division is for all other teams, including those made up of a mix of cadets and non-cadets.
Over 1,000 teams began the CP IV competition in October: 617 in the All-Service Division, 402 in the Open Division. As of August 27, 2012, 658 teams had signed up for CP V: 208 Open Division teams and 450 All Service Division teams. The competition schedule is posted on our Calendar of Events page.

Any school may compete: public, private, charter, parochial, even home school programs.
